I never formally studied digital design in an art or graphics school, or had any one specific Photoshop or Illustrator teacher, but have always loved to draw and paint.
Mostly, I've learned from online tutorials, with the help of a few books for advanced techniques, and by simply having fun and doodling / experimenting.
My Inspiration
For my abstract ART (mechanical pencil drawings), I simply start with a blank page and see what happens.
My surroundings can influence what I draw; the music I'm listening to, or the temperature in the room, can affect what I create.
My "realistic" drawings are usually based on a model of some kind, whether it be a photograph that I like, or an interesting person I see at a coffee shop :)
My Materials
For the most part, I use Photoshop (currently version CS3), with Mechanical Pencil, and Illustrator, for digital design and logo work.
I've also started to paint with water colors again, as well as traditional Japanese ink (Sumi-E).
Random things about me.
- I use to live in Vancouver Canada.
- I still have my Canadian nationality.
- I have one bigger brother and one younger one.
- I am a japanese canadian but i dont like raw fish.
- I love coffee with lots of milk and sugar.
- I hate bugs and im terrified from them. specially ones that fly and ones that has more than two legs..
- I get grossed out when i see long hair in the sink.
- My name Sabrina was given to me from the movie Sabrina (the original one).
- I use iphone 4G.
- I use to model.
- Still wondering what i want to do with my future.
- I get grumpy when im hungry.
- I get grossed when i see or know people that cheats to they're love ones, and i feel sorry for them for not being able to have true love to one person, and only getting comfort by multiple cheating..
- I suck when i lie
- I tend to say Im ok when im really not ok, simply because i dont know how to say im not ok.
- I dont like facebook or myspace, but i dont hate them as well.
- I love to draw, do retouches to photos.
- I dont eat like a girl, and i dont eat like a man. I eat like a gentleman.
